A house, for many people, is the biggest financial commitment they will make in their lives. A home, for most of us, is also a huge emotional commitment. Megan has been working in real estate for 9.5 years. She acquired a lot of knowledge working with short sales and foreclosures and understanding their impact on the rest of the market.
Megan volunteers at Main Stays Therapeutic Riding Center in Richmond, IL, participates on the Spring Grove 4th of July Committee, and is a McHenry County Adopt a Highway Sponsor. She loves to spend time outside with her family and her rescued pets: 3 dogs, 3 horses, and a barn cat. She has an affinity for things with history and hand crafted character: antiques and old houses.
Boating on the Chain O’Lakes is a definite must- do for fun, but she also enjoys horseback riding at the Chain O’ Lakes State Park, dropping a pole and picnicking at the Spring Grove Fish Hatchery and checking out treasures at local flea and farmer’s markets. She loves to cook, but when dining out her family usually chooses breakfast at the Whistle Stop Café in Fox Lake, lunch on the lakefront deck at El Puerto Mexican Restaurant on Nippersink Lake, and dinner at Paisano’s in Richmond or Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen in Crystal Lake.
